I know that attraction marketing is a hot topic. If you feel frustrated with the push marketing or attacking marketing, don’t conclude that the business is not working. But, change the marketing strategy. Learn attraction marketing. It makes you happy and potential customers will be attracted to you naturally. Let’s look at the essence why we are doing business and how to personalize home based business with attraction marketing.
Why Are We Doing Business?
You will hear that the most common answer is to make profit. Business is viewed as an exchange of product or service to make profit. You will hear that the intention for doing business is to get money from someone else in exchange of your products or service. Do you think if you have the best product or service, will you make more profit? If you are running a home based business and you sell the same product or service like everybody else, what makes the difference? The difference is you. You’re the heart of the business. View the business as a living thing. You serve the customers and they’re living things. I view business as building relationship with people. Only when they trust us, they will buy our products or service. The quote about life from Winston Churchill is quite interesting to explain what attraction marketing is all about:
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.“
Attraction marketing is working when we give more values. When we give more values, we make a life more meaningful for others and ourselves.
Personalize Your Home Based Business With Attraction Marketing
Do we need to pretend to be perfect so we look attractive? The answer is no. You look attractive when you just try to be yourself. Everyone was born unique, you have strength and weakness. The key to attraction marketing is by personalizing your home based business. Align your personal values into the business so your business has a life. You reflect your business and your business mirrors you, your personal branding. Get clarity of who you are by doing the following analysis to identify about you.
- What is Your Mission? Your mission in business is not to make you rich, but your business must benefit people and improve their life. Who will get benefits from your business?
- What is Your Vission? What is your goal? What will your future look like
- Values. What do you value in life?
- Strength/Skills. What are you good at?
- Weakness. Identify what you are not good at and you can learn any skills that you want.
- Interest/Passion. What do you love to do?
I use mind mapping to do the analysis above. It is fun to do it with color and pictures and it is simple to understand through mind mapping. I learned about mind mapping from my child. Her handwritten mind map was fun. Below is my presentation on how to do mind mapping to personalize the business.

Hello Viviana,
I am a firm believer of Attraction Marketing for the MLM industry. This industry is now all about how we can serve others – by helping others to find the courage and conviction to take control of their lives and finances.
MLM is not about the hard sell anymore, but rather, providing a solution to other people’s problems – Natural Selling.
I have felt so much more confortable within myself marketing is this way as it is natural to want to help others, and thus you come from a sincere place.
