Many people can’t differentiate between a legitimate pyramid and a scam pyramid. They all think that all pyramid forms are scams. Therefore, they have a strong objection of network marketing. Previously, I didn’t believe in the concept of network marketing. The B quadrant cashflow concept from Robert T. Kiyosaki changed my view about network marketing home business and I met the right opportunity to work with the right team. If you have NO HOW of building a business, network marketing home business is a safe, low risk and low cost business which you can learn KNOW HOW of building a great home business. Let’s take a look the difference between legitimate pyramid and scam pyramid:
Scam Pyramid
This is a fraudulent business scheme. The company doesn’t have a license to conduct a business. You make an investment without an exchange of products or services. You make money from recruiting people.
Network Marketing Internet Business is a Legitimate Pyramid
Network marketing is a legitimate pyramid scheme. You make an investment with the exchange of products or services that benefit your life. You love the products and you join the business. You share your products and the business opportunity with other people. This is also called referral business. You don’t only refer the products and get people into the business but you have the responsibility to teach people how to do this business and to grow your organization. When you build people, they will build your business or organization. The integration of internet will bringyour network marketing internet business grows without boundaries.
Do People Make Losses in Pyramid Scheme?
When you join network marketing home business, don’t just enjoy the products. You must make some initiatives to learn how to do this business. Some people claimed that they made losses from network marketing. In any forms of business investments, if you don’t put efforts, you will lose. So losses don’t only happen in network marketing business home business but they happen in other businesses as well. The chart below shows that more people lost their money in stocks or gambling rather than in pyramid scheme.
If you are determined to build a network marketing internet business, you have to learn to be a professional network marketer. Being a professional network marketer isn’t about selling products but you’re working toward building a great personality in you to be a great leader and a mentor.

Excellent post here Viviana,
People join over hyped opportunities and when the wheels fall off they blame the industry instead of their own lack of due dilligence. I lost big in the stock market. Does that mean it’s a scam?

Thanks for posts like yours that helps dispel myths and misconceptions about the ever dreaded ‘pyramid schemes’.
I believe that there is as much risk in having a full time job as in joining a pyramid scheme as jobs are no longer certain and one could lose at anytime either way.
The chances however are greater to win significantly in the pyramid scheme setup as long as one is prepared to learn the skills needed to successfully build this business and apply them on a daily basis. As with all things, action and repetition are essential keys to mastering the skill and subsequent success.
I also firmly believe that if you provide a value-added service or quality product to all, the possibility of failure is significantly minimised.
