We need to fix ourselves before we understand people.  Before we love, understand and care about people, we have to love and understand about ourselves.  Develop our personality strength first. I never pay attention to personal  development before.  I didn’t read personal development books before. I use my head more than my heart.  My focus in network marketing was generating leads previously. Most people in network marketing business believe that leads generation is the key in network marketing success.  I learned how to create capture page,  how to drive traffic to my website and I talked my opportunity to my friends and people online. I assumed that people would sign up my network marketing business because of good opportunity and good products. I said to everyone, “Look that I’ve internet marketing skills to help you. This is truly 100% internet business.”  Oh boy, I was wrong. I had to confront negative prospects everyday who had fears and doubts.  If I didn’t have strong personality, I would be dragged into negativity too.  How would I help them to overcome their fears and doubts if I didn’t have strong personality. Maybe, I was still struggling if I didn’t find mastermind group who pointed out that I need to understand and to love people or I need people skills. Before I understand people, I need to understand myself first. I begin to identify myself. I’m a person with yellow personality. I read the chapter 6 of book Think Rich Grow Rich about imagination and I  begin to understand why we need to have ideas.  Most people believe that network marketing is about selling products.  You will find that selling products is hard because 90% population don’t like selling and they don’t like to be sold.  So, what makes network marketing success?  Sell your ideas not  products.
